As you have come to expect, lovely Italian morsels, Italian wine and beer on the lawn before we go in for a very special treat.
Once inside, Author, composer and musician Diana Santamaria will be here introducing her book and CD THE SECRET OF THE PEBBLES which captures the magical and haunting spirit of the Filicudi and the Aolian Islands in Italy. She will be doing this with images and a moving accompanied performance on our grand piano.
The film comes from the Italian Film Festival – BASILICATA – COAST TO COAST which is, very aptly, about musicians travelling in Italy – a touching comedy that I really enjoyed.
