Musical theatre fans are in for a very special treat.

 A unique and outstanding production of Stephen Sondheim's Company is coming to Avoca Beach Picture Theatrewith a brilliant ensemble cast that includes some of the hottest names. Staged by the world-famous New York Philharmonic, Company is captured live from New York. The original production of Sondheim’s Company won 6 Tony Awards when it first opened in 1970.

Company's plot revolves around Robert – a single man unable to commit fully to a steady relationship, let alone marriage – the five married couples who are his best friends, and his three girlfriends. Presented as a series of short vignettes linked by a celebration for Robert's 35th birthday, songs include Being Alive, Side by Side, The Ladies Who Lunch, Getting Married Today and Company.
